Attorney Kim Nwabeke has spent more than a decade holding wrongdoers accountable—first in the courtroom prosecuting serious crimes, and now advocating for injured clients against powerful insurance companies. A Houston native through and through, Kim was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and remains deeply committed to serving and protecting her community.

Kim graduated with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin, where she was a letter-winning sprinter for the Women’s Track & Field Team. As a collegiate athlete, she developed the discipline, focus, and competitive drive that continue to define her approach to advocacy.

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she distinguished herself as one of the school’s most formidable advocates. Kim was ranked the #1 speaker in Moot Court and served as Articles & Features Editor on Law Review, where her published work analyzed a U.S. Supreme Court decision addressing corporate liability. Upon graduation, she received the Joseph F. Rarick Award—presented to the graduate who has made exceptional contributions to strengthening the law school community.

Following law school, Kim gained invaluable litigation experience across both the private and public sectors. She worked at a national plaintiffs’ law firm handling complex, high-value cases, gaining firsthand insight into how insurance companies evaluate risk, defend claims, and attempt to control outcomes.

Kim also served at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office—the third-largest county in the United States—where she rose to the level of Chief Prosecutor. As an Assistant District Attorney, she handled thousands of complex and high-profile criminal matters and successfully tried cases to jury verdict at every level, from DWI to sexual assault, murder, and capital murder.

In addition to her courtroom work, Kim has been entrusted to train incoming law enforcement officers at both the Houston Police Department and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. This experience gives her unique insight into how crash and injury cases are reported, investigated, and evaluated from the very beginning.

This background gives Kim a rare advantage. She understands how cases are defended, how experts are challenged, and how decision-making shifts when trial is a real possibility. She prepares every injury case accordingly — built for resolution, but ready for trial.

Clients experience her approach as steady, thorough, and reassuring. Insurance companies experience it differently.

Despite the intensity of her work, Kim remains deeply grounded in her Christian faith, family, and community. Outside the courtroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their three children. She is also a diehard sports fan who loves cheering on the Longhorns, the Houston Rockets, and the Houston Texans.
